About Alastair Rylatt

Alastair is one of Australia's leading thinkers and facilitators in modern business management. He is an inspiring presenter, expert strategist and award winning author. His personal mission is to stimulate greater enlightenment and innovation in how work is undertaken for the benefit of business and society. Over the past 23 years Alastair has proven his reputation as a consultant and coach who creates high performing teams and smarter better thinking. Alastair has four published books. They are Winning the Knowledge Game. Learning Unlimited, Creating Training Miracles (Rylatt & Lohan) and Navigating the Frenzied World of Work and over seventy articles (Publishing Record).

Alastair is currently in doing a PhD at the University of Technology, Sydney. His research involves case studies on individual commitment to implementing environmentally friendly practices in business. Alastair already holds a Bachelor of Business Degree, Graduate Diploma of Employment Relations and is a fellow of the Australian Institute of Training and Development and an Associate Fellow of the Australian Human Resource Institute.

His contribution to smarter, better business ranges from presentations at important conferences, the facilitation of seminars and/or retreats and business coaching. Areas of speciality include: facilitating change, building better teams, strategic thinking and leadership development. Alastair is an accredited consultant for numerous business improvement tools. They include DISC, Myers Briggs, Hermann Brain Dominance, GENOS Emotional Intelligence and Team Management Index.

When not travelling on business, Alastair's great loves in life include hiking, yoga, film and bike riding . All these interests involve meeting and interacting with people from diverse backgrounds and cultures.
